About the event
Lilyana Williams, a 2021 graduate of Hempfield High School, excelled both academically and athletically during her time there. She was a dedicated member of the cross country and track and field teams throughout her four years and served as captain for both teams in her senior year. Currently pursuing a degree in nursing, Lily is on track to graduate in December 2025. Her passion for teamwork, leadership, and helping others drives her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.
Background on the Bill:
To ensure that female students compete in high school and college sports on a level playing field, we are introducing the Save Women’s Sports Act which was Senate Bill 1191 of the 2021-2022 legislative session.
